Awareness Workshops on Cervical Cancer at LDC Public School LDC Public School recently organized two impactful workshops aimed at raising awareness about cervical cancer and its prevention. On 30th August , alongside the Parent-Teacher Meeting, the school in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Prayagraj invited Dr. Pragya (MBBS, MS, OBGY), Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Dr. Abhivyakti Kapoor (MBBS, MS, OBGY), Senior Resident, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology . The session focused on sensitizing parents and students about cervical cancer, its causes, and preventive measures. The doctors highlighted the importance of regular screening and shared valuable information about the HPV vaccination now available in India , stressing its benefits for long-term health and protection. Parents actively engaged in the discussion and appreciated the initiative of the school and Rotary Club in bringing such critical health awareness to the community. On 1st September, the second workshop was conducted exclusively for girl students. Dr. Sonia Singh (MBBS, DNB), Superintendent of Narayan Swaroop Hospital, Laparoscopic Gynaec Surgeon, Managing High-Risk Pregnancy & Infertility Specialist , addressed the students in an interactive seminar. She not only explained the significance of vaccination and preventive care but also patiently responded to the queries raised by students, helping them clear their doubts with clarity and confidence.
