Sanskrit Sangam – Shloka Recitation and Sukti Writing Inter School Competition Date: 22 August 2025 Venue: Buddha Hall, L.D.C. Public School L.D.C. Public School organized a grand Sanskrit Shloka Recitation and Sukti Writing Competition titled “Sanskrit Sangam” on 22 August 2025. The event was specially conducted for students of Classes VI to VIII. Participating schools included Army Public School, New Cantt, Allahabad; Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir, Bairhana, Prayagraj; Seth Anand Ram Jaipuria School; L.D.C. Public School; Imperial School of Excellence; M.P.V.M. Ganga Gurukulam; Central Academy; and Sarai Inayat School. The students showcased their remarkable talent and expressed deep reverence for the Sanskrit language. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guests, Professor Haridatt Sharma from Allahabad University and Mr. Ashok Mishra, Lecturer, Jwala Devi Inter College. In their addresses, they remarked, “The Sanskrit language is not only the heritage of India but of the entire world.” They motivated the students to pursue the study of Sanskrit with sincerity and adopt it in their daily lives. The programme was presided over by the Principal, Mr. Amar Singh, who stated, “Sanskrit is the soul of our Vedic literature, philosophy, and culture; hence, its promotion at the school level is of utmost importance.” The successful conduct of the programme was ensured under the able guidance of the School Director, Mrs. Pooja Gupta, and the Managing Director, Mr. Vivek Gupta. Ganga Gurukulam * Third Position – Central Academy Sukti Writing Competition: * First Position – Seth Anand Ram Jaipuria School * Second Position – Maharshi Patanjali Vidya Mandir * Third Position – Central Academy Students of Classes VI to VIII participated enthusiastically, captivating the audience with their eloquent presentations of Sanskrit shlokas and suktis. The event concluded with the announcement of results and distribution of prizes by the judges. Finally, Principal Mr. Amar Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the programme a grand success.
